AI Screening & Automation Platform

Job seekers applied and often heard nothing. Employers moved between screening, scheduling, messaging, video, and their applicant tracking system while candidates dropped out or failed to respond. I led the experience direction for a shared automation platform designed to shorten the path from application to a useful human conversation.

Interview Now let an employer open a live interview session while Indeed found interested candidates, checked their qualifications, and brought them into the conversation. The experience had to explain what the system was doing, how long it might take, and what would happen if either side was not ready.

Research showed that speed alone would not earn employer trust. Employers wanted candidates who met their requirements, control over screening questions, and a workflow that still respected their ATS as the source of truth. We made qualification an explicit step before the live interview instead of treating availability as a match.

The team used no-code and low-code pilots to test whether employers would change their behavior, whether job seekers would join in real time, and where the service broke down. Working prototypes let us test the operating model and the interface together, then move the repeated pieces toward a self-serve product.

I established a rapid RITE research cadence, AI evaluation templates, launch-readiness reviews, and a self-serve prototyping stack. I led more than 10 designers, researchers, and content designers across employer and job-seeker experiences, giving teams a common way to turn an idea into a working experience, test it, and decide whether it was ready to ship.
