Independent perspective

Consulting, speaking & advisory

Advisory work for design leaders, product teams, founders, and boards making decisions about product direction, team design, AI, and international growth.

How I can help

I work with product and design leaders on new product directions, teams that need to scale, responsible AI development, and global products built beyond one market’s assumptions.

I take on a small number of practical engagements. We focus on a specific decision, work through the evidence and tradeoffs, and give the team a clear way forward.

Product and design direction

Define the customer problem and product promise, make portfolio tradeoffs, set experience principles, and decide what evidence should guide the next stage.

Research and operating systems

Establish decision rights, design-research cadences, quality reviews, and cross-functional practices that turn customer evidence into product choices.

Design engineering for AI products

Build rapid prototyping and evaluation loops, launch-readiness practices, and human-in-the-loop decisions that help teams move from demos to responsible products.

International and cross-cultural growth

Pressure-test localization, MENA strategy, Arabic and RTL/LTR experiences, international research, and the defaults hidden inside a product system.

Advisory and board contribution

I take on selected advisory engagements and board conversations about product, customer experience, team design, and AI. My experience spans consumer, B2B, enterprise, marketplaces, platforms, and international products.

I am most useful when leaders need a candid outside view, help connecting strategy to execution, or a clearer way to bring customer evidence into executive decisions.

Speaking and media

I am available for leadership offsites, panels, podcasts, workshops, and working sessions. Topics include:

  • Leading design and research from 0→1 to scale
  • How AI changes product teams and design leadership
  • Designing across consumer, B2B, and enterprise contexts
  • Global product assumptions, Arabic, and RTL interfaces
  • Marketplaces, partner ecosystems, and developer experience
  • Design research, experimentation, and product judgment
